About
Dr. Cope graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2016 and made the move to UCLA, where he completed his internal medicine training and was a chief resident. He started as faculty at UCLA as lead hospitalist for the Ronald Reagan Direct Care hospitalist service and is now interim co-director of hospitalist services for RR and SMH. Throughout his career at UCLA, medical education has been his foundational passion. He is the director of clinical reasoning education at UCLA. He personally leads didactic or case-based conferences on a near weekly basis and is involved in all aspects of educational conferencing for the UCLA internal medicine program, including clinical reasoning, simulation, and evidence-based medicine.
