About

Dr. Daniel Kahn is a hospitalist physician who provides inpatient care at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Kahn obtained his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He then completed his internship, residency and chief residency in internal medicine at UCLA.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kahn is the director of bedside ultrasound for the internal medicine residency, where he trains residents to utilize ultrasound to augment their diagnostic skills. He is also the associate director of the Global Health Pathway for the internal medicine residency. He was selected by residents to receive the “Internal Medicine Outstanding Inpatient Teaching Award” in 2018-19, and was selected to receive the “Teaching Humanistic Care at the Bedside Award" in 2017.

Dr. Kahn has been working in Malawi since 2012 with a focus on tropical medicine and HIV care.
