YuJa Media Chooser Placement Change
 
The YuJa building block integration in Blackboard has been updated to LTI 1.3 for Spring Term.This update offers better security, has greater flexibility and is more mobile friendly.
 
With this update, current YuJa users will notice a slightly different placement of the YuJa Media Chooser in the Build Content menu in Blackboard.

Final Reminder: Course Removal Deadline Approaching    
 
Due to data storage caps on the Blackboard SaaS system, IT will be removing courses from the Fall 2022 Term from our system.

Removal will begin on January 28, 2024.

This means that if you have courses and/or content from the Fall 2022 Term that you want to use or save going forward that have not already been exported, backed up, or copied into more recent courses, you will need to export your courses and/or download any files prior to the deletion date.

New Blackboard Feature: Zoom Meetings Integration  
 
We have exciting news: Zoom is now accessible directly from your courses! The Zoom meetings Blackboard integration allows instructors to schedule and link meetings right from Blackboard course shells. To learn how to use this new feature, see our guide:  
 
Upcoming Conference: Growing Online Learning

ILCCO’s Growing Online Learning Conference is scheduled for February 6 – 8.  
 
The theme for this year’s conference is “AI: Transforming Education for Tomorrow.” The  keynote session is “Empowering Instructors through Generative AI” with Nicolaas Matthijs, Senior Vice President for Product Management, Anthology. This is a free virtual conference.
